Summer plans // TBT

Stoked I’ll be attending about half of the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Series to create content for Leatt Protectives + make sure their athletes are well taken care of. So in the spirit of the great outdoors and Hangtown, here’s a pretty rad throwback featuring myself Via Motocross Action Magazines “Mid week report”: “Jarred Jet Browne epitomizes the struggle that so many privateers endure to climb the ladder of motocross success. A former top amateur rider, Jarred is on the comeback from a succession of injuires and he proved his talents at Glen Helen with an impressive 16th overall. In the first moto at round one, Jarred came from last place to 17th before running out of gas.He pushed his bike across the line to ultimately finish 26th. Between motos his mechanic Drew Collins (r) heated up his gas tank and beat some additional capacity into it with a 22mm wrench. Jarred rode well to finish 13th in moto two. For Hangtown, the normally seven hour drive turned into a two day ordeal when his truck broke down twice and had to be towed to a dealer each time. Jarred qualified 15th fastest, but his first moto ended early when he sucked a banner into his rear wheel. His 36/19 score gave him 22nd overall. Like many privateers at Hangtown, Jarred’s next big decision was whether or not to make the drive to round three in Texas for another shot at a good result. Through thick & thin, Jarred’s dad (l) is there to support him as much as possible. Motocross is truely a test of character and dedication.”
